Abstract

The empowerment of Mexican women seen through the eyes of the writer, politician and teacher Griselda Álvarez Ponce de León. She stood out all her life in serving her neighbor from her writings, from the political positions she held, being the first female governor of a Mexican state and in all of Latin America. From a very young age, he defended the indefensible, equality between men and women both professionally and personally. He supported a rational female gender, argued that women were potentially equal to men, and worked to make them aware of their being. His literature is rich in themes of love, the body, femininity, and eroticism. Politically, he did everything for the empowerment of women, he developed several projects to protect the breastfeeding of pregnant women and children in rural and unprotected areas, education of violated and helpless women.
